I normally enjoy these iceberg videos, but a subject as complex as the universe creates a sort of Xeno's paradox where every chunk of the iceberg is its own iceberg. And so on, and so on. I give the creator credit for the editing, though. It must have taken forever.

The Big Bang has always reminded me of conception, 2 gametes of some higher beings collide and create a new life; with our universe being the inner workings of that life's body. A black hole is probably a cut on Universe Man's finger, we get sucked through and wind up on an extradimensional band aid.

Thinking about the wavelength function interference it kinda makes sense. You're observing light by intaking light. It's like trying to measure a steady stream of water by putting your hand in there or a water pump that pumps water out of the stream you're trying to measure on its own.

15:59 I’ve recently theorized that.... BLACK HOLES are liquid fuel remnants of stars that went supernova. The simple science behind it goes like this. 1. BLACK HOLES are cool and dense. 2. STARS ARE HOT AND GASSY 3. The black hole can’t eat a star whole? Hmm? Weird? Because they’re in two different states they cannot enter each other just yet. The star will hug the hole and give off its heat load since the star is lighter less dense and hot it will loose the fight. Gives off its energy and enters as a liquid at that point
@bellsTheorem1138
@bellsTheorem1138 Жыл бұрын
It should be pointed out that black holes are not necessarily very dense objects. From my understanding as the diameter increases the density decreases. That a black hole the size of our solar system would be something like the density of our atmosphere. That our observable universe could be inside a black hole with an event horizon only slightly larger than that of itself.

@zeeegeee
@zeeegeee 2 жыл бұрын
Relating to the speed of light being the maximum speed information can travel, what about quantum entanglement? If you observe a thing change, due to the change occurring also with its partner, isn't this an example of information transmitting instantly? *I could be terribly wrong about what quantum entanglement even is and the current state of it's theory.
@docopoper
@docopoper 2 жыл бұрын
Quantum entanglement can't actually transmit information, even if it happens instantly. Let's say you have two electrons that are each both spin up and down but are entangled to be the opposite. If you measure electron A to be up, then when you measure electron B you will get down. The thing is, you still have to measure each of them. And since they both have a 50/50 chance of being up or down before the measurement, you have no way of encoding information into or extracting information from either of them. Like, if you measure B as down, does that mean that A was already measured as up and B was guaranteed to be down? Or does it mean that B could have been either and now A is the opposite? When observed in isolation, each entangled particle is still a 50/50 chance of up or down. You only find out that indeed they were opposite when you bring them together to compare or when a person observing one sends a message about their results to the other observer. And that message is bound by the speed of light. You might say "well, put electron B in an electric field that will cause it to move in one direction when A is measured and B's spin becomes defined". But putting B in such an electric field is literally an example of a measurement. Putting it in that field you will find its spin becomes defined. In fact, if you are given an entangled particle, you wouldn't even be able to deduce that it is entangled without the other entangled particle.

I know I sound pushy but I just really like reaction videos and icebergs charts. In my opinion they go like vanilla and chocolate. If you refuse, I don't blame you, some people aren't interested in existential crisis's, but if you do choose to watch both parts some warnings: 1. You will learn something new. 2. You will go from 0 to 100 in 10,000 planck times. 3. Make sure to skip Roko's Basilisk. 4. If you know about Roko's basilisk, DO NOT SHARE IT WITH PEOPLE!!! All of these tips and warnings you can brush aside or not.

I think quantum immortality is the most naïve interpretation you could get out of quantum physics. It takes so many assumptions and leaps of logic to arrive at that idea. For one, as you pointed out, you didn't experience any form of consciousness before you were born, so there's no reason to assume you must continue experiencing reality as there's already a precedent of you not. Second, even IF the many worlds interpretation is correct, that still doesn't guarantee that you are always alive from your perspective, as infinity doesn't guarantee certain outcomes, it only makes them probable. The universe could be splitting every time a quantum event happens, but that doesn't mean you are necessarily alive in at least one of them, and even if you were, there's no guarantee that YOU must experience that reality. Third, the implications are ridiculous if taken to the extreme. If QI and MW are true, then that means there must be a universe out there where everything is the exact same now, but there's still a trilobite somewhere in the sea still clinging on to life because it can't die from its perspective. And that goes for literally every single living organism that has existed, exists, and will exist. There would be a reality where Caesar is on Twitch recounting his campaign in Gaul for the millionth time. A reality where a caveman has a tiktok where he tells his experiences of witnessing the rise of civilization and every major event that was going on around him since before recorded history. It sure is funny how we have literally zero examples of anything like that in our universe, and all of the oldest people that ever existed (verifiably) lived within the constraints of what we know to be possible in biology.

@@Phil-jk1wy The idea we're in a computer is stupid. It's no different than ancient people humans must be made from mud and clay because that's what was available to shape into any form. The double slit experiment gives no indication we're in a computer. It doesn't require a conscious observer. The wave function collapses because we bombard it with atoms which interact with the atoms we're measuring.

I'm wondering if you crossed the event horizon of a supermassive blackhole in a spaceship, you could probably live out the rest of your life traveling to the center before the whole tidal forces spaghettification thing kicked in. Or maybe not... inside the event horizon every worldline points to the singularity. Would incoming photons hit your eyes or would they head straight for the singularity? Every direction (even reverse) points to the singularity, so you'd feel a gravitational force in all directions equally. I don't think living blind with intense vertigo for the rest of my life sounds very appealing. I guess I'll just stay outside.

Popsci hawking radiation: You use a feynman diagram for quantum foam. Particle-antiparticle pair created. Then they hit each other releasing high energy photon. Which travels back in time a teeny bit supplying the energy to form the pair in the first place. Now you do this at the event horizon. Antiparticle falls in, particle escapes. Antiparticle falls in and annhilates some matter, black hole gets smaller. Why its nfg: When the antiparticle annhilates, it releases a photon, which cannot get out, and now adds as much energy to the black hole as the masses would have added. This cute lil description does not work. Lol

I won't claim to actually know, but I *suspect* that the point where our theories *actually* break and stop describing reality is *at* the event horizon. We can't properly mesh QFT and GR at that boundary and I think it may be a mistake to think that we can just ignore this little broken region and have the same math describe the inside that described the outside. Not exactly an expert though, just fascinated by the topics, so any of my suspicions about things scientists don't understand yet should probably be taken with a big grain of salt 😂

You don't laugh because you lack the defense mechanisms to laugh when things happen yoh can train your brain to do it... I accidentally trained my brain to laugh at everything as a defense mechanism... Even when I feel like dying I laugh about it

God created inflation when he created life if only we can use this knowledge to make money i no you can become a science teacher or professor but you can not take this knowledge and use it to become a millionaire that way the knowledge and information of business and learning how to make passive income online is more important than the knowledge of how the universe or multiverse was created and how it works learning how to make money or passive income online is more important to me great video 👍
