Few things: At the beginning of course there has been a lot hydrogen and helium (actually ionized helium appeared before neutral hydrogen) but there also was lithium and maybe beryllium(?) 5:45 they used optical telescope (refractor on top of that) instead radio telescope Don't quote me on that but I don't think matter near event horizon have speeds that close to c, particles in accretion disk are very hot and move fast but there's also densely packed with different layers moving at different speeds creating big friction between them I also think the amount of consumed mass by black hole is way off, vast majority of SMBH in galactic centers can't even get 1 solar mass per year and using quick mafs according to Kurtzgesagt quasars consume over 150 solar masses per year. That is way way too much

So, there is something that can travel faster than the speed of light

Just a fun thought, I know it's probably wrong. What if the accretion disk of those quasars were powerful enough to cause the Galaxies to have the spiral shape they do? I don't remember what spinning black holes are called (a ringularity or something) but if they drag space in a spiral/ring around them isn't it plausible for one powerful enough to plant the shape seeds of the spiral galaxies we see now?

but galaxies have all kind of shape so no and black hole cant bend space 100 or 1000 years light away

You should watch 'this black hold could be bigger then the universe'

I think Kurzgesagts video about destroying black holes is one of their best, I think you'd have a good time reacting to it.

It would be cool if you start a physics podcast, discussing the daily dance, and other physics/ai stuff. Your audience might grow more as well (as it should! 🌍🇬🇧)

How do you request he react to a science video?

The universe at large scale resembles the human brain at small scale. A galaxy or solar system resembles the atomic structure of matter. My newest one is that the orbits of the plannets around our sun, which orbits the galactic centre, resemble the double helix of DNA. Coincidence or by design 🤔
