My son built a 1 meter( L) by 1 meter(H) by .75 meter(W) fulcrum type 1 tension catapult which is similar to a trebuchet minus the sling, Also minus the weight which is replaced with about 8 solid rubber bungees It had an arm that was about 1.5 meters . The thing launched baseballs 150 ft

2:15 how can i build that trebuchet? :/
@6ray7 жыл бұрын
Thats a catapult at 2:15 not a trebuchet but on regards to building it... The base seems to be about 4ft long 2ft wide, the boom is about 5ft and it has an additional 2ft of pvc which is supported by 1ft of pvc under that. The crossbar is about 1ft 6in tall and the crossbar supports are about 2ft long. They have a frame built around the base that I have not determined yet but if you build this there is about 2-4in of space between the base and the frame.
