Drop Year for IIT…

This question should be personal. What are your reasons of taking a drop? Think logically not emotionally. Are you ready to face the toughest competition of all time? Are you sure you can (not want) rigorously work hard this year and make your drop year successful? Watching videos like "should I take a drop?" or "why droppers fail" itself is a testimonial that you are not ready to take drop. There's literally no harm in going into a decent college, but the choice should be personal.

With crl 7.3k and getting IITG civil,IIT BHU chemical etc i thought of drop but then realised either i get under 1000 next year to get circuital branch at top IITs otherwise the condition of all other non circuital branches is same. As I cannot certainly say that i will get under 1k next year so better to move on with non circuital now.
