At 2:20 u have used p.dv, it means it's only valid for closed system & not for open system?
@wijdana93265 жыл бұрын
My basic question is, can't an adibatic process be carried out in an open system?

@@wijdana9326i know it has been 4 years and im too late but man howtf can an adiabatic reaction take place in an open system unless it is completely thermally isolated which isn’t possible

Why you take work pdv since it's not necessary that for adiabatic process pressure is constant

Sir suppose we took adiabatic process in graph then we know (Tf)irre>(Tf)rever but sir in both reversible and irreversible processes initial pressure and volume are same and final pressure and volume are same that is for example pi, vi both for reversible and irreversible and pf, vf for both reversible and irreversible and moles of gas are same now applying ideal gas equation pv=nRT we get final temperatures in both reversible and irreversible to be same sir where is my mistake please please say I beg u i would be very thankful to you if sir says

Totally fraud , at 2:21 you are putting Cvdt and Pdv in same equation , where Cvdt is used in a system where volume is constant while Pdv is used in the case when volume changes.
@Physicsmee6 жыл бұрын
Sorry ,but your concept is totally wrong. Here Cv is a constant. i.e specific heat measure at constant volume.Its presence in any equation doesn't mean that the system is at constant volume.

in this w=pdv is taken for proof but i think this eqn is only used for pressure constant but in adiabatic pressure may or maynot be constant so if anyone can clear my doubt plz reply
