H.w answer Capacitor 12,7,1,10 and 13 would form wheatstone bridge. Now capacitor 12+23 connected in parallel and become 35. Same way, capacitor 1+1 connected in parallel become 2. Now C1/C2 = C3/C4 that is 35/10 and 7/2 both comes out to be 3.5 ..hence, we can remove capacitor 13 from wheatstone bridge. Now 35+7 in series and 10+2 in series. So, For (35+7) Capacitor Ce = 35×7/35+7 = 245/42 Similarly for (10+2) capacitor Ce = 10×2/10+2 = 20/12 = 5/3 Now, Both are in parallel. So, Ce = 245/42 + 5/3 Ce = 15/2 micro Farad. (b)

HW ANSWER: First there is || bwt 23 and 12 which equals 35 and also btw 1 and 1 which is 2 and hence draw the circuit and you will see 35/10=7/2 and you can ignore 13micro farad charge and then apply series formula on both and then apply parallel formula then you get 15/2 micro farad final answer. 1st hw ques-- 45/6 C ( wheatstone principle will be applied) assume the middle 2 points as x and y and make the diagram accordingly ..........little bit complicated type wheatstone bridge will be formed........2 capacitor between A and X also 2 capacitors between Y and B.......rest all 1 capacitor

It form wheat stone bridge and 13 will remove out,as at A =v so,at 23,12,10 uf have v at left side plate ,now at point B v=0 so , 7,1,1 uf have v=0 at right side plate .now assume v=p and m .
