Ok-I have a question- once the plant pulls the toxins out of the soil or water- the toxin in now in that plant. Then what? What if we eat it? Would we get sick? What if it just decompose back to soil- wouldn’t that just go back into the soil? The plants soak it up but then what?

Yes, disposal of the plants can be a concern but it depends on the chemical and the plant interaction. Thanks for watching.

How do we find out which type of phytoremediation the plant does? I am hoping for you reply as I am researching about the use of dumb cane (dieffenbachia) as a leachate absorber using phytoremediation. Thank you
