It was refreshing to see positive comments about PIA. I wish more people would understand that poorer countries cannot necessarily compete with richer countries/airlines in terms of brand new aircraft, equipment and infrastructure. However most staff try their best with what they have. Well done to them.

Poor country has nothing to do with PIA. They are not selling tickets any cheaper. Flights are Full. That is what pays for planes, fuel, maintenance, crew, food etc. It's a stand alone product. Instead PIA has 39 planes and 20,000 people on payroll. PIA is suffering due to corruption not because the country is poor.

Tell you brother and sister s not that my batch mates were operating this flight...but travelling all of the world...our PIA is the best airline. Honestly, not only the crew is very professional and knowledge able at least have regard for"Perdasees" going Home. As far operations is concerned..No Airline can match PIA...I know you would shake your head...but with resources and financial conditions we have survived no airline can survive. During COVID..our crew worked on almost half of the wages even denied rest.Just to get people from point A to point B..Hats off to our Cockpit and Cabin Crew.

PIA business class has been rebranded as premium executive economy. They simply can’t compete against other business classes so this made good sense.

Why would you say it can't compete? Other airlines fly to Pakistan sold out with First class pods. PIA just does not want to upgrade.

I've been on a Pakistan International Airways flight on the exact same Boeing 777 but on a different flight to Jeddah. The food and crew were so nice but they could add movies to their tvs.

Well PIA doesn't have business class anymore, what they call Business class is actually registered as Premium Economy with IATA standards, hence PIA is not allowed ot sell tickets as business class for this cabin on international flights. Looking at video it felt exactly like flying back in early 2000s or mid 2000s. Not only cabin is ragged the whole aeroplane is ragged, 16 years old with nothing replaced, same old seat covers floor lining & I am sure 90% of the rest of the aircraft is still 16 yeasr old. Poor maintained :( It did put a smile on my face when you put "Fortunately" IFE was functional, I agree it's very fortunate.

I have been living in the States for over 23 years. I traveled to Pakistan 4 times and never took PIA. While I am watching the video, I want to travel to Pakistan via PIA. I hope the best for Pakistan and it's airline.
