Pia ist für mich die beste Elisabeth Darstellerin und Sängerin. Ich habe noch andere Sängerinnen in diesem Musikal verfolgt. Aber Pia ist für mich die Beste und kraftvollste Stimme.

hey its not a word to word translation an probably not the best english but i hope it will help and i am sorry but i can't promise if ia have time to finish it he: You played all big roles at Austria, netherlands, Germany, at the westend in London, at Broadway but there is one song that is coming in everyones mind, when people hear your name, that's "Ich gehör nur mir" from Elisabeth. Do you now how often did you sing this song? she: i played the show in 3 countries, in 5 productions over 1000 times. and i am singing the song at every concert, so about 3000 times or so he: how do you do it, to love singing this song, when you already sang the song over 3000 times? she: it is funny. i still love it. i try to sing different versions, like to sing in five languages or to do some funny things with the pianist or to sing it at a launch version. but it is my heartsong and i know what effect it has on people. he: the press in the beginning was not so well... she: you can say it. it was really bad. we have worked it through and i think the piecel has worked it through too, because it had become so successfull. he: how did you handle this big change in your life? she:it is an interesting question because it wasn't easy in those days. i had to do everything in german, it was my great international breakthrough. i had to handle a plenty of fans, with all those interviews, with this focus on me an with those bad criticisms. and the funny thing is, that three month later, i was the favorite person of the audience an the press and i learned a lot at that time. it was my mediaschool. he: why do you want to stand on stage? what is your motivation? she: in earlier days there was no: I will make a career. today the people want to be musicalactress to become famous, to make a career. there were none of these things in those past days. i wanted to dance, i wanted to express myself, my soul had to unfold and it was the right way for me. i didn't think of a career i was taking what was coming on may way until i played elisabeth. then i thought, oh my god,now i am somebody or? now i have to continue something. but my real motivation is upgrowth, is telling stories an you can do that about dancing, singing and acting at the same time. and if i can touch people with those things, or make them laugh, or make them think, that is my aim. he: do you want to tell your brodwaystory? she: yes. first i worked two weeks at the westend and then i should fly to new york on sunday and on thursday there was my permiere, my visa didn't arrive, not on monday, not on tuseday. it arrived on wednesday at 11am. at 1pm i took the flyght. i arrived at 7 pm, saw the show at 8pm and at 12pm on the next day i had rehearsal and then in the evening the show, with full jetlag and the funny thing was that i had rehearsal with only a fwe people, so i came on stage and i was dancing and was thinking :" oh hello, i don't know you. and oh hello you, I don't know you." and after the show i was thinking:" who are all those people." it was really crazy.
