Piaggio Ape Auto DX Passenger 435cc Diesel Auto Rickshaw

The Piaggio Ape Auto DX Passenger is a giant when it comes to Tuk-Tuk it has so much space inside.
We videoed this back in January but due to illness, we have only just got round to editing the video.
I liked the look of the Piaggio Ape Auto DX Passenger and the space it has inside would be so handy for me as the wife has a shop and there is plenty of room to carry a lot of stock. However, the top speed of the Piaggio Ape Auto DX Passenger is only about 50kph which would be fine in a ci9ty but on an open road it would be to slow.

You would think though that a larger engine would go faster. It must be good on uphill slopes though, perhaps in mountainous areas?

It is designed as a workhorse rather than speed. Designed to carry 0.5 ton.

What is the top speed of the Bajaj Re and the TVS King? And would the gasoline version of the Piaggio Ape have a higher top speed than its diesel variant?

Top speed of the Bajaj RE is 80kph. We have done 80kph in a TVS King on a slight uphill and there was still throttle left so I suspect it would do over 80kph. We only tested the Piaggio Ape city petrol version in a city so could not test top speed, but it is faster than the diesel for sure.

As you know national Roads are a problem at the moment because enforcers do not understand the law on what a tricycle is. If you are prepared to stand up for your rights then unless there is a road sign saying you are prohibited it is our believe you can use national highways.
