Remember, my fellow musicians... Mozart Beethoven Debussy Schubert Chopin Paganini Joplin Vivaldi Wagner Satie Holst Gluck Sibelius Elgar Puccini Moszkowski Foster and a majority of the most influential composers and musicians all died penniless, and yet we still remember them from centuries ago and will continue to celebrate them for centuries to come.

Cannot believe you forgot Liszt, Rachmaninoff and Tchaikovsky

@@Deviousahhz Rachmaninoff faced financial difficulties but in his later, more successful years he was known for his expensive tastes in fashion and cars. Liszt is pretty interesting because he had huge amounts of income but gave most of it away to charities and gave free lessons, but he is undoubtedly the most influential pianist in history. Tchaikovsky worked at the conservatory until the wealthy patroness, Nadezhda von Meck, provided him with a generous annual stipend, which allowed him to quit the conservatory. Although he did have some financial issues I wouldn't say it was as bad as Beethoven or Mozart.

So there is a setting on your phone depending if you have an iPhone or an android what it would be called. It reads off the screen for you and that gives me the ability to access some different apps and maneuver around the digital world. It is pretty incredible.

I’m a musician and decided to equally practice and teach both cello and piano rather than focus on just one so I could ensure more job opportunities and money (at the expense of possibly reaching top virtuoso level on one - at least for now) Also started a business on the side last year that is steadily growing so that I don’t have to freak out if I go a while without getting any concert engagements/students Get a side hustle/other source of income and then playing/teaching your instrument will be SO much more enjoyable!
