Listen to Robert Goulet singing "Always You" - a popular song adapted from the lyrical sections of this Tchaiovsky piece. Rare that an adaptation is better (IMO) than the original! [If they got it right, this piece was Tchaikovsky's reaction to his infatuation w Belgian opera singer Desiree Artot. I know -Tchaikovsky was gay, but gay men some time have an infatuation w certain women(they really don't want sex w the woman) I should know, I'm gay, too!] And God love & bless Robert Goulet! What a voice! If i could have sounded like ANY singer -it would've been him! And God love & bless Tchaikovsky! God, kiss him for me!
