I love the sound of Coldplay songs on piano. My all time favorite track on piano for Coldplay is definitely Atlas. There is something so beautiful when I play it that I makes me so emotional.

I'm stuck home for the next 6 months, so I'm gonna use this time to learn piano through that song. I wanna be able to play and sing that song, which is probably gonna be a lot of efforts so this is where I'll keep track of my progress. 18/01 : day 1, first time I play piano and it's definitely not gonna be easy 21/01 : today I made it through the first 2 measures without mistakes, even though it's still a bit slow 23/01 : I can now play both hands separately on the first 4 measures at full speed. Trouble beings when I try to play both at the same time, I kind of manage to get through the forst 2 measures slowly, but this is still gonna be a lot of work before I can pull it out! 30/01 : I can play the whole part from this video now, moderate speed but the improvement is really good. Time to keep practicing this and dive into the rest of the song ! 09/02 : I'm now fully comfortable with the intro and the chorus, almost get the verse at full speed and I'm yet to memorize the last chord of the outro. The instrumental is still fairly tricky tho, it's gonna be a bit of work to handle it. Good thing too is that I pretty much manage to sing while playing, which I thought would be way harder and ends up being pretty natural.

I'd have to say the scientist. It relates with my older sisters death from a few years back. Means a lot to me because it was the last song we heard together before she died. Crazy thing ?
