A very enjoyable movement! Like some of your other piano music, it reminds me of Beethoven, and in any case it is consistent with your Viennese heritage. :) Xavier Suarez presents a very precise, clean performance, with somewhat exaggerated dotted rhythms, as is stylistically appropriate. I believe this movement is technically harder than it sounds, especially where it presents the pianist with descending broken-octave arpeggios (around 4:15 in the video), which are more difficult than their ascending counterparts, at least for those of us who cannot easily reach tenths and elevenths. But Mr. Suarez pulls it all off with aplomb. Kudos to both him and the composer!
