Having never owned an instrument,, One day when I was 39,, I woke up and said to myself, "Uhhh, I feel like learning the piano today." So, I downloaded a synth (Synprez-II), and crash-coursed myself in piano and basic sheet music🤘 Eventually I got a keyboard. Now I get a whole day of practice Sometimes 😁

Interesting...when I figured this song out from memory (not listening to the recording), I played it a half step down, in A minor. I found it a little easier to sing in A minor. Thank you for posting this! I need to study the song "Alone" because I am going to attend a Rock & Roll Fantasy Camp and play this with the real Nancy Wilson. The song really means a lot to me because it fascinated me when I heard it back in 1987 when I was in high school, and it's going to be so cool to play it with her. It's going to be like playing in a Heart video.

Hi, awesome video, thanks for teaching us how to play that song, it is a masterpiece from the 80s for sure. I like a song from the 80s with a piano 🎹 but it is kind of repetitive over and over but it would be cool to learn how to play it. The name is by a flock of seagulls, and thre name of the song is wishing if i had a photograph of you, maybe the whole song can be played with the piano. I grew up in the 80s so I always liked it
