If getting your family pregnant isn't one of your worries, you can't prepare for this anime. But even tho that this anime is, what it is, I would recommend this to everyone who want's to call himself a weeb/otaku. It's a essential experience to be truly one of us. I'm just gonna say it. I liked this anime a lot, the incest did catch me off guard a bit when they got it down, but thought it was kinda cute. Ending also made me tear up a bit. Also if you didn't know, the makers of this anime basically gave two options as an ending, you could say they died, or they ran away, if you don't understand why or are confused then ask why or how.

At the end, when Sora tried to suicide herself and Haru came to help, they both got drowned. The next scene following that was at the shore. Some say they did got drowned and died, and the scene following that was them in the afterlife. Also it could be said that Sora and Haru made it back to the shore and did not died, and then left the village. I think those are the two ways you could let the anime end.

I posted this in a thread but im going to post it as a separate comment. Yosuga no sora is b e a u t i f u l. It is an artistic masterpiece. Personally I adored this anime, I just sort of ignored the incest. the story itself as a drama/romance is fucking incredible, and the music as you've probably figured out puts you in awe. It really conveys the immense emotion in the anime, I fell in love with the compositional skills of Bruno Wen-li and Manabu Miwa almost immediately. I was never really interested in the incest at all, it doesn't add anything to the story but it doesn't take anything away from it either if you aren't fussed about it like me, keep that in mind. Honestly all things considered the anime is still really really good. If you haven't watched it please do, and watch it from a neutral lens, because it is not focused around incest hentai or whatever, it isn't really an incest hentai (or hentai at all) by any means either though there is heavy implication and a little bit of explicit depiction as you've probably gathered. The story and music are worth the watch on their own, skip past the incest scenes if it makes you feel uncomfortable. They aren't detrimental to the story although by the end of the show it is kind of part of the main narrative. But yeah, when I first watched this it resonated with me (I surprisingly didn't notice much of the incest to begin with, it didn't even make me batter an eyelid) it might be my bias that this anime helped me through a tough time, but to me the sheer detail and artistic beauty in this anime is not something that should be overlooked, even if it is overshadowed by the "hehe incest anime" comments

@@traintoon1095 As psycho alert pointed out, the anime is based on the Yosuga no Sora eroge. It shows the what if's on each girl, but the sister ending is canon. While there was no official sequel (big shocker i know) there is a fan-disc sequel that mentions the twins went to another country to live with a trusted friend of their parents. They continue their relationship and are awaiting their first child.
