-MystTheRealist- I guess that could be possible if you are much better at voicing leading tones with 3rd and 4th fingers and recursive melodies at high tempos for extended periods of time than faster melodies for shorter periods of time with none of those other things?

ASM The 3rd movement's cadenza I think
@luciancrosby6331
@luciancrosby6331 7 жыл бұрын
ASM there are a few areas of resemblance, especially to the third movement: The structure: the outer movements of moonlight are in C# minor, and the middle one in Db major, which matches the structure of this piece There is a passage in the outer sections of this piece (not sure exactly when but you could look it up) that is exactly the same as one from the third movement of moonlight. The tempo and performance makings are also quite similar to moonlight. The markings in the third section of this piece - presto (very fast), and agitator (agitated) is the same as the third movement of moonlight.

Okay, This is a good speed in my eyes (the speed in the video). I've changed my mind. I think it would be a little bit too fast, if you put it on 1.25. 1.00 is a good speed in my opinion. If Chopin made it as fast as 1.25... Fine, but it still sounds ridicuous. I mean, yes, it's not full speed, but it's better, if it's slower, because on 1.25 it sounds pretty unrealistic, weırd and unenjoyable.
