If anybody finds the last two exercises too difficult, I would recommend completing them first in C major and then starting with other scales once you are comfortable with c scale. By the way, another great set of exercises, they have really helped me a lot. Thank you 👍❤️

I love the lessons that Pianote provides. They are so clear and essential. I have played the clarinet for many years: one note at a time, hands/fingers always in the same place. Now, the piano is just killing me. Can you offer simple exercises for how to learn to move my hands from one location to another? Many thanks.

I had a lot of trouble with learning this. This particular teacher works a bit too fast, assuming you might already know some things. I will keep at it and get it but it’s not as easy as other things have been. Still, a valuable lesson.

Just what I needed. Learnt the organ as a teen, so never did much with the left hand (cue the jokes....) other than solid chords with maybe a little rhythm. So can read music (well, treble clef), and fairly decent with the right hand, but need to learn the independence. Digital piano arriving today, so after the obligatory mess around with it, this is probably going to be one of the first lessons along with a few other basics to get used to the differences between a keyboard/organ and a properly weighted piano. Then learn bass clef. ;) Subscribed to the channel, as so far all the videos I've watched have been excellent. Great calm, patient tutors with an easy to listen to and follow style.

Thanks a lot Cassi for all your suggestions...although I started so long ago learning to play the piano, it definitely applies to me as an extraordinary exercise for my daily warm up routine. Once again, thanks for your dedication and keep up the good work at Pianote. p.s. : I found the arpeggios's execises the most challenging ones,......specially all those arpeggios that include sharps or flats (they're the most complicated in my case).

Wow, I found really extremely difficult (if not impossible) to do dynamics exercise when left hand must be loud and right hand quiet. In opposite way, right hand is leading, and left hand is behind - I do it good. But even if I try only 2 or 3 notes, still cannot make left hand loud and right quiet. Any advices? What happens with my brain?
