These are my piano problems: •Sometimes I don't know what to pratice •Sheet music •I wanna know how to make "song tutorial" like when you took song, Hello for example, and than know which notes I should use •My left hand sometimes •Afraid of playing in public That's it, ty for amazing video
@elia3233

Ok, I know it is annoying, but the best way is just focusing on ONE problem per time. Of course you can have fun (that's the most important thing!), but you also have to take some hours to fix specifically one problem, and you'll see progress in no time! Good luck

- Try to play casually in front of just one or two friends or relatives; - Invite someone to hear you at the end of a study session every time you can; - Avoid big compromises until you get acostumed to play in front of people; - and when you think you are ready for a recital, practice your pieces until you can play them even a little faster than required, so that you feel confortable at the actual speed P. S.: In my first recital nobody warned me about all this and it was a huge disaster 😂 be smarter!

I recently subscribed to your tutorials, and so far, I'm enjoying your tutorials. I used to play the piano, many moons ago. Now I'm 50-something, and I have to basically start all over. I can't believe how much I've forgotten 😥 I recently bought a Yamaha (61 keys) keyboard. I so badly want to start playing all the tunes I used to play and more 😃

I have been following your channel for a while. You and the other pianists have inspired me so much. I have grown from finger pecking to almost L & R hand capable. Now, I did not see where anyone replied to your challenge of which composer is just lying around in the background. Is Mozart attending your sessions to critique your students? I am not gifted nor talented in playing the piano; however, through your channel I have acquired the skills to dilly-dally a bit. If I may? I hear so many people say piano is so hard and they are afraid of failure. I employ a different bearing and heading; failure is the compost of success; without it, there would never be any amazing creations; art, music, sculpture ... So, Lisa, thank you and your Pianote team to simply taste something so beautiful.

One of the things that I always get asked is....how I play piano fast... The main focus and only strategy here to play fast is to start slow. That's it. Tempo is no big deal coz you knew it in fact almost everyone knew it. All you need to do first is to master the key patterns as well as all chord progressions so that you can proceed to getting faster and faster again and again.

i always giggle at "don't be worried if your left hand has more trouble than your right" bc i have the ten thousand percent opposite problem. i probably can't get to 2:05 but i bet i can become more flexible! seems like this my help my 3-4-5 fingers separate (that's more a strength thing for me though)

I've never learned to play properly, just taught myself so lots of bad habits. So I am enjoying the tutorials. I have a question. I notice that sometimes when starting, you go..T-I-M-T-I-M-Third-ending on little finger. Does it always need to start that way. What I mean is, why not go Thumb-Index-Middle-Third to start? Instead of Thumb-Index-Middle-Thumb. Just interested to know as there must be a reason for ending on the little finger yes?

My biggest issue is speed. I have the Hanon book of finger exercises. It says to begin practicing them at 60 speed and gradually work up to 108. I'm doing well to do 60 speed smoothly and without mistakes. But when I try going much faster, my right hand wants to outpace my left hand. So, I'm working at my left hand alone for most of my practice

Chopin's nocturne in C minor's 3 octave descending notes - drives me crazy. Somehow my fingers start feeling tired from the second octave to the third. Plus, I can hear my thumb tuck and it's annoying. Anything I can do to make that better? I'm learning Beethoven's 3rd movement now, love the speed but I can't do it fast enough and I'm feeling a bit discouraged. 😞
