What a great Song. Ronnie could belt out any song, and the Famous "Wrecking Crew" that created Nut Job Phil Spector's famous Wall of Sound and so much history. When this song came out the Beach Boys said Brian must have listened to the song 10,000 times. This song forced Brian Wilson to write "Don't Worry Baby". Thanks for the video Nate. Great Job.

It really is amazing. It's hard to have perspective on how revolutionary the Wall of Sound approach was at the time, because so much of what came after it, and what I grew up on, took it for granted.

A beginner-appropriate version of 'Shipbuilding' by Elvis Costello would be fantastic (although the Robert Wyatt version is even more feels IMHO). Thank you Nate!

This song was the inspiration from a song called “Say Goodbye to Hollywood” from the Turnistiles album by Billy Joel.

@@PianowithNate Both are great tracks! Billy dove into a lot of his songs back stories in recordings for the Sirius XM Billy Joel channel. He talks about the inspiration around 28 seconds into this one: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hJ2ToKxtr8tgfrssi=YhJTUFi_ru3tUOOL I just recently stumbled onto your channel and it’s helped me a lot. Chord charts you find online often omit the little details that you include on your videos. I was playing Desperado for a while before stumbling on your channel to find out I needed to be playing a Cm6 at one point. Every chart I found just had Cm. Thanks for your great work!
