People don’t recognize the nature of Full AP titles. It has more to do with an old KZbin trope of building full AP or AD characterized by SoulStealer Mejai or Sword of the Occult as flagship items in the build. Refer to UberDanger’s full ad videos and such, if any still on KZbin. Piantwo took a spin on it since he built Mejais and is a highly cultured KZbinr playing at many jokes at the same time.

Lux is good fun! In this video Brian went Mejai's - Luden's - Sorcerer's Shoes - Horizon Focus - Shadowflame - Rabadon's, then swapped his Mejai's in the very late game for a Void Staff (to try and increase his damage to the tankiest enemy, Dr. Mundo). If you're learning Lux, I wouldn't recommend Mejai's in most games--it's a very risky item, as it requires you to get kills without dying to build up its effect. It's something you generally only build if you're already very far ahead, and don't think the enemy team has any way to get to you and kill you. Hope this helped!

@@_xir0 The usual "artillery mage" build path is Lost Chapter (this builds into Luden's) > Luden's > Shadowflame > Rabadon's, and then you can get the other items as you see fit. You can replace Shadowflame with Void Staff if the enemy team has many tanks.
