Have you tried scoring the Centre of a plate, once you cut the rim off?

Yes and sometimes it works and sometimes not. I gave up, but might try again 💚💚💚💚💚

@@SonjaMosaics, it can be challenging. All china reacts differently. I like to use the edge of the plate to border the top edge of planters and mosaic borders. I teach my students to cut the edge of the plate or bowl, keeping each piece in line until they completed the cutting. Then to mark the depth of the edge. The pieces fit so well together (most of the time) and it finishes off their pieces beautifully. You could do a simple keystoning line/bend easily too. Perhaps only adjusting a couple of pieces. 💕
