Piccohan - Gohan x Piccolo ~ "Take it All Away"

*Spoilers*
An mv showing the emotional upheaval Piccolo and Gohan endure while living through each other's deaths. The ending is a happy one, after Piccolo's stint as a guardian of Hell, he returns to heaven to meet Gohan in the afterlife.
Piccolo and Gohan are both the heroes of their own stories, and are each other's love interests. Piccolo's role is to guide, mentor and protect Gohan through his childhood. Gohan protects Piccolo as well in drastic situations. When pushed to the limit Gohan unleashes incredible power to save his friends, most especially Piccolo. Gohan adores Piccolo and will do anything for him, even when that involves hurting someone else (which Gohan normally hates). Even though Piccolo seems like a prickly cactus, Gohan enjoys spending time with him. In season 9, their roles aren't exactly reversed but Gohan has 'surpassed' Piccolo in a sense, now a fully grown adult, much more powerful than Piccolo will ever be. Piccolo recognizes this and is completely blown away XD adorably silly due to the influence of Goten and Trunks. I think by season 9 Piccolo is ready to have Gohan's children (and don't tell me they can't cuz there is interspecies breeding all over this show). Piccolo has already taken Goten and Trunks under his wing. Thinking Gohan dead he adopted his little brother, as it's the most useful role for him. When Gohan miraculously reappears it's just the two of them with the two children, a complete nuclear family unit x3 daw so cute.

It's kinda sad that we couldn't get more moments with them as now the franchise is centred around Goku and Vegeta's competitive rivalry which I consider overrated... Not to mention Gohan's exciting character along with potential got dimmed down in the later part of DBZ by being hitched with a girl he never met and interacted with long enough and is the daughter of someone who took credit for destroying Cell... Piccolo is reduced to being a babysitter for his student's canon kid... Both don't get more screentime for fighting, so sad. 😥

​@@mandalai2023 Yeah I definitely see where you're coming from and agree 100% with how he was paired with a girl he barely knew at the time and whose father took credit for saving the world from Cell! It felt like a troll move on Akira's part. And I swear that babysitting stuff was to appease to the fans, because what the heck! I mean, I didn't mind him babysitting sometimes because it was wholesome, but it shouldn't be a constant thing! They sort of massacred my boy Piccolo after the Cell saga. Though he's still one of my favs in the show. And yeah, Goku and Vegeta's competitive rivalry is overrated. Especially when it seemed more one-sided to me. Goku seemed like he didn't give af. lol

my theory is namekian birth takes a lot of mental concentration and focus, it's not easy to create an egg, that's why their population rises slowly. so if they got pregnant it wouldn't be an accident. i wish thats how it happened in real life too, i see so many crappy parents who don't appreciate or deserve their children. the amount of abuse that's out there... namekian children would be precious. i really think piccolo would want to raise one eventually, and gohan would be very involved, whether it was his child or not, but preferably it would be! ;D

Magpie08AA5 I think Piccolo would freak out if he suddenly threw up an egg. He'd go on about how he doesn't want a kid and ask Dende (or ask Goku to gather the dragon balls) to send the child to Namek... though in all truth, it wouldn't be because he doesn't want a child or doesn't love it but rather because he would be afraid that something would happen and the child would have to grow up alone like he did

Magpie, your GhXPic videos are REALLY sweet, I think this one is my favorite though.
