One of the most incredible character theme songs ever made, just remembering that it is a reinterpretation of king piccolo's theme song, with a heroic tone that gives a completely different face to the song, symbolizing redemption and the difference between piccolo.jr and his father it's just genius, it seems that everything was already programmed. @@jasonone8726 Piccolo now can defeat SSJ2, but i always liked Goku, Vegeta and Piccolo catching up with the other, Goku got stronger than Piccolo in the Saiyan Saga, but weaker than Vegeta (had to use Kaioken). Then, Vegeta got stronger then before, but Goku too and was stronger than Vegeta, then Piccolo came and he was stronger them both Vegeta and Goku, then Goku used the zenkai and became stronger, in Freeza Saga. Then in Android Saga Vegeta and Goku got stronget then Piccolo, but he fused with Kami and got way stronger then both Super Saiyans, they were always fighting to be stronger then the other, but now that doens't happen anymore. I miss this...

Jou Gamer Piccolo only passed Goku and Vegeta once, that was in the beginning of the Cell saga, when he merged with Kami.

@@jasonone8726 no, Piccolo passed in freeza, Goku had 90.000 PL, Vegeta had 60.000 PL, then Vegeta got 500.000 PL, he was fighting against Freeza 1st Form, Piccolo came and beat up Freeza 2nd Form, he had 1.300.000 PL in Freeza Saga, stronger then Vegeta. He was the only one at the time that could be hitted by 3rd Form Freeza without dying

Jou Gamer Actually, he didn't beat 2nd form Frieza up that much, they were pretty even, if you read manga, the anime gave Piccolo more shine and he edged Frieza out at the end, before he transformed again. Goku was holding his own against Final Form Frieza for a while, so Piccolo definitely wasn't stronger.

Actually those scenes of Gohan being alone make me cry a bit, cause it's like watching Goku when he was little again and and that time goku already has fighting and survival experience but gohan born with luxury and have both mom and dad and they both have fighting experience just Chichi to strict on gohan for being successfull man and not letting him working out and training all day and night, so its kinda hard to survive alone for a first time

I don't think the original is bad, but Faulconer seems like he brings more emotion into DBZ with his music, especially with Vegeta and Piccolo scenes, like when Vegeta blew himself up to save the planet, it had so much feel. or when he was killed by frieza, that music made me cry. The original music sounds way to upbeat for me, and takes away from the drama of the events in the series. I'm not saying the original didn't take skill to create, but it makes the show less serious.

I think it is somewhere mentioned that if Piccolo Jr managed to merge with Piccolo Daimao we would have a Namek that is nearly as powerful as SSJ3. This makes sense, since we know that Piccolo + Kami= Stronger than first form Cell. So if we add the missing link, we would have something impressive.

the french dub used the original soundtrack, and even though the dub was crappier than crap, I loved the show and its BGM. So, when I travelled to US, I happened to see one DBZ episode. I was literally shocked to hear some metal, techno or whatever music instead of the good ol' original soundtracks.

@TheTOONhunter DBZ? Not comedic and corny? I don't know what you were watching, but it was no faithful representation of Dragon Ball OR Dragon Ball Z. In fact, Dragon Ball started out as a gag manga that didn't ever stay serious for long. But regardless of English version vs. original version or anime vs. manga, did you EVER watch the Buu saga? It's really, REALLY hard for me to believe anyone can watch that and not know it's a comedy.

Notice how his is just like his father's but with a different tone. It makes an impact in the viewer having the villainous vibe in there but at the same time it almost dissipates its actually kinda cool, Totally not mark explains it in a very unique way He explains how those songs give a certain feel to the viewer such as the Goku Black Theme As a viewer in Japan this one and the one of king piccolo have a similarity atleast in my opinion
