Given Fox's shine is one of, if not the best, moves in the game, this is like asking someone to beat Halo using only a rocket launcher. The downside is that while I'm confident gamerfreak, or any TASer for that matter, could make a shine only run, it would be incredibly boring. Every fight would consist of shine-to-shine combos across the stage, then a shinespike for the kill. The move itself is too simple for anything fancy, so it'd literally just be 10 or so rounds of this one combo. Good idea in theory, and really easy to TAS, actually, but boring in practice.
