Picigin on Bacvice Beach: Local Stories Ep 23

For a real taste of Croatian culture head to Bacvice beach, where you'll find the game Picigin, which has been loved by locals for hundreds of years.
Picigin is a traditional Dalmatian ball game, originally from Split, that is played in the shallow shores of the beach. This amateur sport is often played with friends and the aim of the game is to keep a small rubber ball from touching the water.
The shallow waters of Bacvice Beach and close proximity to the Old Town in Split, make the beach a perfect location to play this unique Dalmatian game.
