Pile 1: came back to tell you that your reading was true. So I had to let my manual car go last year for an automatic, cause of my knee. The day she was leaving… I drove it to my studio and balled my eyes out inside the car. Hugged it profusely and when it was time to give up the key.. I couldn’t bear to see it leave so I gave the key and didn’t look back. After that day, even in our new car.. me and my husband kept subconsciously searching for the number plate.. cause it was sold to someone we didn’t know through a dealer. What are the bloody odds. It was like meeting my best friend again! He asked me to sit in while he stepped out and when I did, my body just knew what to do. The car felt right. It smelled the same and I hugged it tightly. It was like it came back… and I got closure knowing that it was loved and cared for. It wasn’t a person. It was my car. ❤
