Pile 1 resonated the most. The concept of being selfish is also misunderstood, within myself as well. I think there's a balance between doing what makes you feel good and addressing the root issues that is causing chaos within yourself. A cycle does need to be broken and with the right guidance and emotional support it is possible. Just not regressing back and opening up past wounds is a goal I need to work on.
