He has told me that he’s going through a dark time. My life is kind of a dull struggle, stuck in trying to make a change. We’re seeing each other in a couple of weeks. We live 300 miles apart and haven’t seen each other in a long time. I could use a fun break and so could he. We used to have a lot of fun together and I’m sure we can do that again. It’s ok with me to keep it on the low, but I’m not expecting much beyond a fun roll in the hay. I doubt it will go anywhere. We make each other feel better. That’s enough right now.

I absolutely know he thinks mainly with his lower parts and I called him out on his intentions whilst telling him I think it's time to say goodbye because I am looking for someone who actually wants to date me, not just Netflix and chill me. He gaslighted me saying it was innocent, was not at all thinking about the poom poom. Basically I ended it saying I am looking for substance. We have hooked up, I just think he assumed that once that happened no more effort was required. I have absolutely no evidence to back up my assumption but somehow I just know that he will resurface. We actually did have this undeniable understanding of one another, but problem is he does not want commitment, and I don't linger as a booty call. He is very handsome and I don't think anyone has ever said no to just "hanging out", as many women just keep giving guys they like what they want I. Hopes of them changing their minds on commitment. I didn't. I suspect his ego hates the slap in the face and he will try to come back. I know he will never forget me for how I handled it, and it cost me a ton of heart ache because I really didn't wanna go, I just knew I would never get commitment if I played by his ruies. I love how open-minded and still spot-on you are. Pile 2: We work in the same building and had a bit of an interest in each other quite some time ago. Nothing really happened as he was still married and we both knew that we were not supposed to be involved in this. I have heard rumours that he had been in a divorce the past months and that it wasn't the nicest situation. He seems pretend-confident and I laughed when I saw the peacock because yeah, he's been trying to be a bit of the flashy guy trying to impress, but I like that. *insert a tehe* But I can still see how exhausted he is and that is worrying me a bit while I do know he will get better eventually. I really liked the advice, it's telling me to just see what my needs and his needs are in this and to patiently, carefully but also compassionately navigate it for everyone. ❤😊

2. Spot on!! Met a guy who just got out of a divorce and they went public about their divorce online, he does have kids, and I feel like he is just starting to date again after all of the while divorce. Definitely don’t except him to be commitable and I this obviously feels short lived type connection. right now I’m starting to tip my toes too into dating so not expect anything too serious right away but spot on! 1. I’m confused bc he just ended things with me bc we got in two different grad schools. He told me he wasn’t interested in seeing anyone during the program so I didn’t have to worry, and that he needed to heal himself more in general. I hope he’s not just rebounding now and wanting to see me too…

Pile 2 is so spot on! We worked together when we were 16 for maybe not quite a year, we talked a lot. We lost touch after that because we did not have a relationship outside of work. Last October, so 43 years later, he hunted me down on Facebook. We are both committed to our longterm marriages and nothing inappropriate has ever been between us.
