Yes pile 1 was awesome. It is so hard to know if it is worth pursuing someone you feel you have a connection with, even when they shut down due to their past traumas or insecurities. One likely outcome is they will walk away the first time they get triggered by a challenge in the relationship. But loving unconditionally would mean accepting all the challenges that come along with the relationship, even letting them go when they can't handle the love. The new Mission Impossible movie actually characterizes this push-pull relationship very well. And it was a freaking great movie overall. God bless ❤

But, my DF intuition understands what has gone on.... my sweet confused DM has lived her entire life in a very toxic environment (you would not believe what she has gone through) ..... It's only been recently that I finally had to walk away, the drama that she is going through made her 'stuck'. Pile 3. That’s the thing, I don’t want him to leave his family, there are two younger children involved. Yet something must be done here, clearly. When getting married, we do not sign up for a prison sentence. Both he and I already served our ~20 years each (separately). We first met 15 years ago, and he should have chosen me then. But how could he have known that I will spend the following 15 years plowing forward vs whatever his privileged wife is doing in her swamp existence? Making me even more glamorous and worthy to him… He already was sexting me on his wedding anniversary 14 years ago. Imagine his torture now, smh. This is a very accomplished and public figure, btw, lol. And she appears to be a pretty nice person too. At the same time, our chemistry is off the charts yet I refuse to accept any crumbs from him. What a dilemma. 😕 P.S. on one hand, this is all quite comical and petty in the universal scheme of things. But what are we supposed to do about it, nothing?? I mean, for now, I am essentially punishing him for not choosing me.
