I picked pile #2. On Halloween night my childhood friend was hit by a drunk driver while on his mo-ped. He was left in critical condition, and I wasn't sure if he would survive. Our friendship as kids was rough. He was very much operating from a place of ego and got involved in some illegal activities as well as hard drugs. I love my friend with every part of my soul and then some. We have always shared such a special connection even in all his chaos he chose to create.
