I mean if it is me getting triggered because of the negative messages it is fine, but I go about my day and I get positive af messages and signs too, and sometimes bummer readings like these. Same old Hermit videos previously turned out to be heavily resonating and now sometimes it’s just Icky and not sticky with me 🙂 I realised maybe my truth keeps changing with the energy I embody every moment and the real test here could be whether I’m relying on my inner compass. I was falling into my old pattern of thinking what the other person must be feeling, being overly empathetic, and doing things accordingly without accounting my feelings. pile 1. so spot on. i've been back n forth with someone for years, last time we separated i ended things cuz i couldn't just be friends, fast forward almost a year later i came to the understanding that i wanted him in my life regardless of his role in it. we both agreed to rekindle our friendship without physical intimacy but that didn't last long, 2 days ago he came to see me to let me know we have to stop being intimate because, according to him, 'the intimacy is giving me the wrong idea'. apparently he's getting the vibe that im still trying to be in a relationship with him. he basically said the same thing u said, he doesn't want me to continue deluding myself when he's blatantly telling me he doesn't want to be with me. its all so laughable. the crazy thing is, and i said this to him, is that i've been actually working really hard to respect his boundaries as a friend, instead of putting him in a box of my ideal partner or even the old version of him that i used to know when he used to give me much more time and attention. because i know i've been genuinely trying to change our friendship dynamic, it hurts that he is still putting up higher walls and still insisting that he needs to give me less and less when i'm genuinely trying to meet him where he's at without demands or expectations. i had a victim moment where i started to wallow about the fact that guys always do this to me, they push for intimacy and when i give in they suddenly 'don't think this is right' it's happen to me so many times, that's why i'm abstinent now and HILARIOUSLY enough we actually have not been having sex since we reconciled, we've just been intimate (laying together, carressing etc.) and somehow that's still too much for him LMAO. like the whole conversation was so dramatic considering that we've barely even seen or spoken to each other these past few months, like he really came out of the blue and dumped that on me for no reason (makes sense tho since venus is retrograde and he delivered that news to me the day before mercury went retrograde) i swear some ppl are really just cowards and fakes, i wish he would have just said 'i'm not attracted to you/you're not the type of girl i could build a life with.' that would be so much more REAL than the bullshit he came up with (not trying to disregard his truth and feelings but a lot of his rationalizing made it sound like he was ending things because he can't give me what he thinks i want cuz he's so 'messed up right now', but in reality he is the one that wants something else. i've literally done that to other ppl before, break things off with them but spin it in a way where i take all the blame and make it seem like i'm trying to protect them, it was like watching karma happen in real time). but just like u said, i realise there's no need to beg for answers, i took his bullshit reasoning, congratulated him on his growth and made peace with the whole thing cuz i just cannot be bothered to ever beg someone to love me ever again. i had to ask myself why am i so willing to settle for the absolute bottom of the barrel, even if he were strictly my friend, i hold my friends to high standards as well and i would never condone a friend that keeps pushing me away, so why allow him to make me feel like im clingy, overbearing, delusional and lacking self-worth? if that's his perception of me fine, but i won't subscribe to it, esp when everything else in my life is going so well rn and i'm making platonic and business connections that are truly accelerating my path forward i genuinely understand that our roles this time around is to help each other overcome codependency, which ultimately means that we will have to leave each other behind and choose our own self-development (this is even more pertinent considering he has a libra sun and i have a libra chiron and NN and currently the NN is in aries and the SN is in libra so there are some biiiiiig celestial energies playing out in our connection). i don't believe in twin flames but i've never met someone so aligned with me its crazy, even him running away is like a page straight out of my book lol. i genuinely wish him well and i am forever grateful for his presence in my life but i'm actually glad to let go now for good because i have long discarded any possibility of us being together so officially ending the intimacy just helps to unblur those lines. maybe now i will finally be able to open my heart to someone who really deserves it, and i'm excited about making new friends along the way as well :) i'm working really hard to not center my life around romance, and it's helped me so much in so many different ways. i've found so much fulfillment in my community, school, family life and friendships. i know if i keep progressing at this rate, a good person WILL come along and now that i'm not attached to my old friend anymore i might actually be able to give this new person a real chance, instead of just using them to be his temporary replacement. thanks for the reading, it really supported the pep talk i've already given myself

pile 3: Everything is absolutely spot on. I had a co-worker who I liked a lot and vice versa. He’s older than me by 8 years and he’s very aware of the power dynamic. He’s been distancing himself from me regardless of our compromise to just be friends, mostly due to his self image issues and thinking that I have better options.
