Pile 1 You reap what you sow. What they did to me, they’re getting the same feeling back. Yes, accurate. Absolutely. He believes that he could do no wrong. He wouldn’t admit that he can and does hurt people and that whatever he does, he’s a good person. He was selfish, manipulative, lazy, silencing, invalidating and he just took advantage of people. They’re discontent, nothing is going their way, they can’t get what they want, they’re mentally scared/ tortured, excluded, left out, dissatisfied and depressed. He did that to himself. I only walked away. He broke me down and mentally tortured me too.

Pile 1- Person is a sociopath. One some level I believe they know they've done wrong- but they are so egocentric, they think that it was ok to abuse & violate my reality & others as well to get what they wanted. Basically I did not matter & they justified things as being fine- because it suited them. & As this person does not care about the feelings or needs of others, only they matter in their reality (100% selfish), anyone they engage or have a relationship with- is going to be drained & exhausted & used.

Pile 2: I helped her out many times throughout the years, then again a few months ago by allowing her to fill in for me at a job I had been offered - I thought she had it worse than me and she was drowning in debt. I then had financial issues and needed my job back. She said it was hers now. I can't believe it took me this long to realise what a toxic freeloading friend she had been. I know it's dumb that I trusted her blindly, but I will never trust anyone again. I hope the job meets her needs, though, and saves her from bankruptcy, and I hope I get a better offer soon.

awwww you're a bigger person:) at the very least, it makes you feel good helping someone even though it turns out that this person doesn't really deserve it. i'd say don't lose trust so quickly. i constantly get betrayed too for giving my complete trust, but it's unfair for the new person that i meet to never give them a chance to prove themselves to be trustworthy. i'm sure you'll get your good karma back for being a wonderful person! for sure a better bigger more pay job will come along your way:)
