Hi, I would like a suggestion to figure out my problems here please, I stuck with a gripper adding, I use Epson robot with scara type how can I add a gripper to it, when I did add a gripper to robot, it turned up-side-down every time.

This is because the Z-axis is pointing "inward" instead of "outward" of the root flange. Take a look at this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fJ3XgHl4eN-rY9k You should be able to rotate 180 degrees around X or Y in the "Move geometry" and change the sign of the TCP Z-axis from positive to negative.

Hello. Can we only move 3D models on attaching the robot or can we move the models up down in a programme individually also? In my case, I have a big table having 3 machines and I have imported the cad model of whole set up, so I just wanna show Robot put the tool at one position and then from this Position the 3d Model goes down and comes up in particular time. Can we show the 3D cad going up and down with any involvement of robot in a Programm ? If yes, how?

Hello! I have a question about connecting the robot with ROBODk through IP address. I tried to post it in the Forum also. I think I am not allowed to make a new thread in the Forum. I guess. My issue is, I am entering the Robot IP in Robodk it says connected, ready but when I click on "Get Positions" or on "Move joints" It says not connected with the red signal. What should I do about it? What should I do to connect it, even on checking with cmd, there is 0 percent signal loss for the IP address. I read the documentation also but it did not work. Help and guidance from you would be appreciated and if possible please allow me to make a new thread in the Robodk forum!

@@RoboDK3D I am using UR5 (Universal Robot). I want to connect the robot with RoboDK to control it remotely. The goal is to update the robot program from RoboDK itself without actually programming in the robot. I am not able to connect. Do need your guidance and I tried to post on the forum also but I think the administrator has not allowed me to post.

@@pankajnaryal22 Updating the robot program from RoboDK and controlling the robot remotely are two different things. Both can be achieved from RoboDK. For the update of a program, the only thing you need is FTP transfer. For the control of the robot: Do you see a program running on the controller? When you "connect", a program is sent to the controller via FTP (kind of a "listen to RDK" program), it needs to be running. robodk.com/doc/en/Robots-Universal-Robots.html#DriverUR

The scenario with my case is, I am able to connect the ROBOT with RDK like a ready option with green light is coming, but when I am trying to I click on "Get Positions" or on "Move joints" after successful connections, the robot is getting disconnected.
