Archenai Phantasm would be an insane early game card if it just said 'your next healing effect does damage instead. It would reduce its combo effectiveness and therefore make it a weaker constructed card but the tempo that change would give would be nice in arena.

That run can hardly be taken into account for what the title implies. You may also pick Shaman, the overall worst Arena class by a large amount, draft Even Shaman and probably go 12-0. If you get a god tier Control deck with high deck score, good midrange removals, lots of heal and massive late game value cards, turns out even Priest is PREEEEEETTY good

I am by no means a great arena player, but ever since i started using draft helper like Lightforge and Heartharena, i can average around 7 wins consistently. Drafting a good deck is half the battle after all. Check hsreplay to see which class has the best winrate and try to go for the top ones. Other than that just try to play a lot to get a feel of certain cards that you should play around and when to go all in. Watching Kripp is also helpful. Have fun
