Can't help but think with time and more coaching he could be that keeper mikel thinks Raya is.. I love rambo, not much difference between him and raya, apart from the distribution but as I say that could have been coached. Hope he ends up at a bigger club. Such a shame he was a victim of mikels selective ruthlessness

@@scott284 Even if you ignore the distribution, Raya is 10x better than Ramsdale at claiming crosses. Both are pretty similar as shot stoppers but Ramsdale struggled a lot while dealing with crosses and we conceded a lot of goals because of it.

Funny thing is Arteta's stubbornness got him sold but we're not an ounce better in terms of points this season 😮‍💨... Raya might be better at some things but the way the coach managed the transition was wrong, ignoring Rambo in team selection, and not even giving him the less challenging matches. If we as fans are salty about it, just imagine his teammates, it changes the way the look at their manager.

The issue with our team isnt because of the gk, it’s our inability to score a goal and predictable buildup play. No matter how good our defence is, if we arnt scoring we are not winning. Arteta did the same to Leno, I dont see anyone defending him.

@@giosam7721 totally agree with you in both things, tactically we've had those problems and also Leno suffered the same fate (at the start there was some negativity towards Ramsdale for paying too much for a supposedly back up keeper), but I think people reacted more with the Rambo situation because he was part of a new team that brought us new hopes, and due to his personality which is really lovely 😮‍💨
