I got a pair of guidis off vestiare for a similar price a few weeks ago too. haggling plus a discount code got the price down to such a steal. vestiare is underrated IMO especially for people in Europe where grailed isn't as big.

Joshua I love your video. how's the lug sole on the guidi, are those slippery? I own PL2, the fishscale sole is sooo slippery. So, I was thinking of putting on a lug sole on my PL2, (i know the change gonna be so expensive hence why im wondering how good is the lug sole).

I have never had an issue with my lug sole! Definitely never had slipping issues either. Vibram also does have a much thinner lug type of sole. I’m not completely sure what they’re called but if you don’t want to extra added height your cobbler might have the thinner lug

abt your question, I do like the suare toes but the guidis are def something else. I think it’s fitting for guidi to make something like that tho. I did love the harness boots and would love to have a pair but I only got trousers on rotation and it would look off pd. happy bday

Thank you!! The degree of square of the guidis is definitely extreme. In terms of the harness boots, I think they’d look great with trousers! But primarily if those trousers are long enough. If they are the length that show some ankle then I don’t think they would pair well.

Just got my pair of the Rick Docs as well, they are not only better than the previous iteration they are also Lighter! I found that last iteration was a bit too heavy. But I love both my pairs :) those Guidi’s are top tier 😭🤘🏼 such a good price too, that’s a forever shoe right there man. Loved the video!

i had some durango harness boots but i gave them away to my friend bc they we’re just too uncomfortable for me. I also gave them away bc i got myself some nice cuban heel rm williams boots that serve the same purpose and they’re way more comfortable. Still gotta break them in so it gets my foot pattern but stretching them has been extremely easy, i put double socks and an insole and they were instantly roomy esp with thin socks

The tough part about most boots is that they can be very unforgiving and uncomfortable. I had a pair of durangos in the past and couldn’t make them work too 🥲
