Picked these up for my birthday Adidas Crazy 8

Decided to pick up these Adidas Crazy 8. Usually I spoil myself and get a pair of kicks on my birthday and this year I decided to get this pair of Adidas instead of Jordans or Nikes. Kobe Bryant wore the crazy 8 back in the 90s so this was a must have to add to my sneaker collection Let me know your thoughts.

I remember getting those fall of Junior year of HS (1997-98 school year). They cost $100 plus tax back in 97. Later in november, I went out for basketball tryouts and failed to make the varsity. I was relegated to the C/JV teams and I was the most fresh upper classman in those lower tier teams.

I've been waiting 27 years for Adidas to release these shoes again 😂 i bought them today 👌👌 these shoes bring so many great memories, i had the originals in 98 , I bought them used from my friend and I loved them, great looking shoes and very comfortable 👌

I remember when I was in HS and my obsession was to dunk a basketball on a 10 foot rim. By age 15-16 I could touch the rim but couldn't dunk. Starting at 16, I bought any vertical jumping program I found appealing in Slam Magazine. I got the Jumpsoles. The workout logs by Bill Heid. And by my Junior year, I could dunk and did dunk a pickle ball. Not a regulation sized basketball but still proud I got my palm above the rim. What does this have to do with the Adidas Crazy 8s? I accomplished that pickle ball feat while wearing those shoes. I felt so 😤😤😤😤 that day. I am 44 years old today but believe it or not. I am trying to jump as high as possible. Just like in HS.

Your video scored me the crazy 8s!! I've been wanting retro crazy 8s for years. Didn't know they were dropping! As soon as I read your title, I paused the video and shot over to foot locker and finish line. Both their sites was all messed up so I happily paid more at Champs to get them. I wish they had the goofy foot guy on them.

The logo is FEET YOU WEAR. still got OG pair of these with the 8 branding on them. Copped this pair just to have both, i know my og pair is eventually gonna start coming apart.

My OG pair fell apart in about 2 years after I got them in 97. Fall of 99 and I had to let them go. I wore them everywhere.

The face on the tongue is the logo of the "Feet Your Wear" technology which was not owned by Adidas. The thing that irritates me about that logo is that the original Crazy 8 (original name: Adidas KB8) had the number 8 at that spot.

I think if you’re playing ball in them then maybe a half size up. I know some people have gone half a size up in general. If you can I’d say try them on first before making a final decision.

I got mine true to size and they feel fine but I know some are going up half a size. If you can I’d say try them on first to see how it feels on your foot.

They run a bit small . But if you play ball with em, i would recommend go half a size up. Most especially if you have wide feet
