fantastic show this, I used to go to it with my grandparents every year and take a ride on the NYMR, but then I moved to New Zealand, really miss this show.

I sure remember the Steam Tractors when I was a young boy during the 1930s, they did did a lot of farm work, I loved watching them operating the thrashing machings. wonderful film Dave. Don :-)

That is an electric Organ , that uses all the instruments electrically , some great exhibits up there ...Cheers Dave

love it Dave, i have driven an old scammal around a hay feild as a kid it was as much as i could do to steer the thing as they loaded the hay but it was fun,,,,,lol love the steam tractors.

They do a 3 day weekend event in Carlisle with all this ,their lovely to see and the smells,lol,you know what i mean Dave.

Thank you for the reply Dave. Do many of the bachman steamers have tender pickups and 5 poles to allow for more pulling power like Hornby? I ask because I am thinking of buying not only a Hornby large prairies BR black but maybe 56xx and robinson 04 and other bachmanns too. Thank you Dave

Ha ha, I visited the steam fair in 2015 with my wife and my daughter... however they wanted to charge 100.-pounds for a night in my own camper so we drove to the next village, stayed on a car park next to a public swimming pool over nicht and took our bikes to ride 3km back to the fair ground. Saved 100.-pounds :)
