Nothing like the older cars. early 2000s First editions and even some early 2010s stuff for me. That first wall at that swap meet would empty my wallet. Literally. How much for that X-Raycer Ford Fairlaine. The best stuff was at that swapmeet.

Minor paint shade variations are underrated. I have three of the Hot Wheels 2010 Hot Auction mainline subseries Bugatti Veyron and one is clearly a darker shade of satin blue than the other two. (Alas, none of them are carded. I bought one and opened it back in the day and the other two are from Value Village toy car bags.) I'd have gone for that carrying case because the blue Hot Wheels carrying cases from Tara are stackable (and I rarely see them at Value Village anymore). The modern Hot Wheels carrying cases are too bulky and they make them in weird shapes that don't stack well. I have that Dropstars Ferrari 360 Spider in four different colours, red, black, silver, and Zamac. I think that Honda S2000 was also in Zamac. I'm going to open them anyway (if I find them) so I'd be happy to find Spettacolore's with bent cards. If I can't find the yellow classic Countach, I'm just going to wait and order the Shipping Container set where there's not even cards to worry about in the first place. I have a hunch that there's going to be a major licensing announcement regarding Ferrari diecast within the next year or so. I'm about 90% certain that the Ferrari master diecast license will be up for bids again soon for the period of 2025 to 2034. I believe Mattel's previous license from Ferrari which, as we know, ended in 2014 (although Hot Wheels Ferraris manufactured in 2014 could still be sold into 2015), came into effect in 2005, indicating that each licensing period is presumably 10 years. Before that, the Ferrari diecast license seemed to be a lot less exclusive since I have Ferraris from several different diecast brands from that general turn-of-the-millennium era and I don't think the non-Mattel brands were sublicensing from Mattel.

I had the same thing with boulevards it went from 7/26 and finally got them on the 8th and it ended up being 3 cases with the civic which I had plenty of😩😩

I need to get to a local flea market and see what they have. I just finally got the Barbie movie car but I had to go to the new house of cars in Troy Michigan made a video on it but happy that we have a house of cars they have everything in there.

I wish I had your stamina. I am retired (that means old, my friend), and I got tired of going to Walmart's at 6AM and finding nothing. The diecast section in my stores is very, very small. My target got wave 2 of the 1:43 cars, but they are too expensive for me. Good luck out there!

Each case has a car that is a treasure hunt and a car that is a super treasure hunt. There are many channels on KZbin that do unboxings and show what’s in each case. Just have to spend a bit of time doing some homework and you will know what’s what. 👌🏎🏎🏎
