I'll be joining in your "Read Your Bookshelf" Challenge as well and for January I'll be reading If Walls Could Talk by Lucy Worsley. I'm excited, I've had this book on my TBR shelf for some time now and it will also help me kick off my personal goal of reading more non-fiction this year because I have about a dozen non-fiction books on my TBR shelf currently (and it will most likely grow as the year goes on lol).

It was fun to have Jared pick your books! I just got The Way of Kings for Christmas! And I’m going to read Everblaze too, so we’ll be reading some of the same books! Also, Endless Night is one of my favorite Agatha Christie’s, but it’s very different. It’s more gothic romance/thriller/mystery. It’s really different, but I absolutely loved it!

On my shelf for the January challenge I found five options. Hell House by Richard Matheson, Tell the Wolves I’m Home by Carol Rifka Brunt, The Mars Room by Rachel Kushner, Words on Bathroom Walls by Julia Walton, and The Forest House by Marion Zimmer Bradley. Have you read any of these?? I think I’m going to try to either read or unhaul all of them 🙈

I enjoy most of her books just have a hard time getting into some of them if that makes sense.

I really enjoyed the Hidden Figures movie, but the book fell flat for me-there’s so little dialogue and that made it read more like a history textbook than a novel to me.
