I'm currently engaged in cs studies. I was wondering if you had some address to find internships in embedded systems
@artfulbytes2 жыл бұрын
@@trya2l No specific sites other than the typical job sites (e.g. LinkedIn). My impression is that it can be harder to get an internship within embedded systems compared to other fields of programming, higher barrier of entry. Not sure where you are located. But I would try to reach out to companies that has open positions for embedded systems and ask them about possible internship/thesis work. Otherwise, any position where you are exposed to C/C++ even if it's not embedded systems would be a good experience. Besides internship, make sure you gain experience by working on your own embedded projects, it's something I wish I had done more of during my studies.

I found your channel after a whole month of wondering the internet for a decent embedded systems course/videos. To my surprise, not only did I find what I was looking for, but I just found a gem. Your work is wonderful, thank you so much.

This series is great! I personally wanted to get into embedded more seriously, so I was looking for project ideas which did not include an Arduino (I already have experience with software, so I was rather excited to program things from scratch). I always got stuck on what to make and how to search for parts, and a lot of what you said in this video especially was so spot on! I am going to follow this series as a reference on how to build projects to improve at embedded, and forward it as a resource to anyone who wishes to do the same!

I really love the way you integrate drawing in the tablet in order to explain yourself. Not only does it help the viewer visualize the content but it also makes it much more engaging.The video is overall "prettier". Anyway I'm really looking forward to this playlist and I wish the best for your channel. I'm definitely going to enjoy this journey in the project. Cheers!!!

Hello! Thanks for this video series, this is just such cool stuff :) I'm excited to watch all of the videos, please if you have the time and, if it's worth it for you, make more content! Also I love your diagrams, I am such a fan of using logical diagrams to represent processes, and your art in them looks awesome. Great work man! 😁

Wow your videos are incredible. Thanks for making these! I work in embedded systems for developing mass production consumer products, but I've never been involved in the component selection process so I find it interesting to see how this process works. I'm subscribed and will be keeping up with the videos!

bro is it possible to use 5 i2c slaves in an Arduino without using any multiplexers, if you used Arduino for this project (just curious about it) , unless all 5 have different i2c address.
@artfulbytes5 ай бұрын
It's possible if they have different addresses. The range sensors I used for this project (VL53L0X) have the same address at boot, so they can't be used on the same bus as is, but it's possible to reconfigure the address of them, so that's what I do. I boot them up one by one and configure a unique address.
