Enjoy the new ride. Nice! 2024 G80s come with iDrive 8.0. You kept mentioning " Carbon fiber hood"? I believe you mean carbon fiber roof. 2022 has a M3 Competition console badge. 2024s do not come with but can be swapped out with a screw yanked out and put an ordered one in.

You are right I did mean roof! Yeah I noticed that and they didn't include the red stitching on the carpets...

Ii ordered the sunroof and got carbon fiber. Still mad. Cf roof looks good but I miss having a sunroof.

@@AndyColeman I get it. I like it too but I just like having a sunroof. Part of it was since I didn’t order all the cf parts I wanted everything to match in black. I had plans for black ppf on the roof. I did cf for the interior though. Love the car nonetheless.

My thoughts exactly believe it or not I never even used the sunroof and I live in Florida. I just think the carbon fiber gives it A much more sporty and sleek look

The bigger screen on iDrive 8 is nice but it looks sought after. To me it looks like a huge tablet with a kickstand and the other downside is most physical buttons are removed. I'm currently looking for 2022 models because of these reasons.

At first that's why I wanted to keep my 2022 but when I got the new one I actually like it better. Believe it or not because it looks more futuristic and modern. Definitely go check them out in person and spend a little time with the new one is my advice. I got used to not having the buttons and it's not a problem at all

Thank you! I'm going to do a full review on my build out but I basically upgraded everything except the extra speed. Totally worth it getting the carbon fiber package. My last one didn't have it and if I were to buy all the parts it would be like twice the price

@@aymanshaheen31 my buddy just got his up to 1400hp 😮 That was a lot more then a tune.. rebuilt engine, upgraded turbos, etc but I'm just shocked he was able to get a v6 passed 1000hp

@@AndyColeman Yes, Bowers & Wilkins Diamond Audio Package available to 5 series and up. So you can get it in the M5, M8, X5m etc. Really unbelievable that it is not available for the M3 variant. It really may stop me from buying the car. Bavsound and Alpha One make replacement speakers, but I have no idea how they sound.

100% I would. I have a Tesla model s plaid and this M3 and I love the M3 way more then the Tesla... it's my favorite car I've ever driven. I drive a Hurrican a few months ago and I'd still rather have this

nah, I had the old style in the m550i, and I got 23 m3 comp xdrive with idrive 8 and it's much better. now it could use a lot of improvement but the clarity, the size and intangibles are much better.

Yuppp the iDrive 8 system is significantly better imo... Just strange why they didn't add some more color choses for the RGB interior lights... Line where is red??

@@AndyColemanpersonally I kinda agree. I do like the way the new screen looks but I do wish they kept the buttons like the HVAC and Favourite buttons. If they did have those with Idrive 8 would’ve been perfect 😮‍💨. Still gonna get one though ordering mine soon! Can’t wait

@@AndyColeman asking price and true sale price are two different things…..in addition you might be able to get a tad more on private sale but then you loose a few k on tax savings ….you just gotta be lucky at the right time and right market location…here in miami dealers are crazy high and sale and crazy low on trade value the nature of location a lot of money here

I used to think the same thing when I saw it at first but it's grown on me and actually really like it. A lot more than the old one now. The old one actually feels more outdated. Believe it or not
