I did that--picked up my pug puppy at 8 wks. That dog was bold and brave and immediately took over the household. Best dog I've ever known.

congrats, my pug is 10 weeks, and its a hard work to get them to pee on the pad, i just got mines from a mill puppy breader, it will keep you busy, train of thought try to get those metal gates to blocke off the areas you dont want your pug to go, (your pug is bigger than mines,), always have a pee pad by him wherever he goes and when he pees in thepad reward him with small kiblet treats from petco or petsmart, mines loves to climb up the puppy stairs i had for my RIP 12 yr old shizu girl leah, we are bringing her remains home ...she had respitory failure, so my puggie girl is a handful but she is listening to house rules...so far so good!!
