Siberians are just a special kind of cat, they’re so different from other cats and are such a joy. Not sure where they went, but I got mine from Munchranch in Dallas, he was the best and everything was a wonderful experience! :)

if you find a good breeder, like keren did, they actually test the cats for the Fel D 1 gene (the gene that causes allergies in cats) to make sure the kitten is suitable for a low allergen home!!!

Russian blues r also hypoallergenic, my family is allergic so great full I gotten one. I had cats growing up but they had to be outside since we were all allergic to them. Now I have a indoor cat and he is fluffy and all gray.

We got a Siberian and my son was still allergic to it, also my co-worker that came over to test and see if she could have one. It came from a serious breeder too so you have to have your son meet one first and see if he reacted.

It’s definitely worth looking into! I’m highly allergic to cats too, I get rashes and asthma attacks, but I have a Siberian and I have barely any symptoms. It’s not gone entirely but it’s very very minimal, like a lot of people who never even get tested. So.. your dream might come true! Just do proper research to find a good breeder and make sure you test it extensively. It doesn’t work for ALL allergic people sadly.

I'm getting my first kitty next month all because of your first fur baby! My husband and daughter are highly allergic to cats and I've never been able to get one until you got Meeko- I told my husband all about it and he laughed and never took me seriously cause I said I got it off a KZbin family (you guys) buuuut now.... We had to re home our rescue cat because of her (unknown at the time) cat hair allergies. She’s just come off 10 days of antibiotics because we went to a friends house with a cat.
