As a truck driver, here in the UK. I love your content... Who doesn't want to see different trucks and the comparison between US trucks, and European trucks... I love it!. I love what you do when you give them the "Bruce" touch, great vision, and classy... Apart from when you chop a Scania cab in half, sacrilege I tell you!. 😂 I've really enjoyed watching transition from your tractor business (as an ex farmer, tractors are another great love of mine) to dealing with trucks as your main business. Great content brother, don't listen to the naysayers, you're doing a fantastic job. For every person who complains and bitches, there are thousands of us who love what you do. Keep up the great content my trucking brother. 💪🏾😎👊🏾

I just don't understand the mentality that automatics are bad or that they make you less of a driver or something like that, if anything they make you a better driver because instead of focusing on changing gears you can focus on actually driving the truck and you don't have to worry about destroying your knee over a lifetime of driving stick shift.
@Bruce_Wilson5 ай бұрын
Agreed
@bryantorres47165 ай бұрын
Here we go with the “knee myth” hahaha. I hear you brother! Nothing wrong with driving an automatic. However, i believe every driver should know how to shift gears. There’s so many skills you don’t learn if you’ve only driven automatics.
@tonyettmayer55355 ай бұрын
What’s with the knee crap? Use the clutch to start out or reverse.I float my gears no clutch or knee to worry about, been at this for 44years my left knee is just fine.Try it you might learn something.

@Bruce Wilson, considering that the engine is in front of the cab, the noise is quite high compared to a European truck. As for that truck with the APU, I would rather park next to a Fridge trailer all night than listen to that APU, when are American truck manufacturers going to use a 24v system instead of a 12v system for truck ancillaries, the overnight cooling/heating systems are way more advanced.

To find out what ya got, this truck has to run between Denver and Los Angeles non stop for over 200,000 miles a year. That is how Cummins test their engines. 995 of any engine wont last. Constant pull, over 120 degrees in the summer and -30 below in the winter. Steep hills up and down. So I would refrain with bragging about something that has not faced the "Gauntlet of I 70..

That 2015 or 2014 Mack. You may be better off selling whole so you don’t have so much work on yourself so you can get other things done that you want to get done. Plus less moving parts like that 6x2 , less money to spend for the owner. Just like I prefer a 2 wheel drive truck than a 4x4 due to parts getting too expensive now a days to maintain. Just throwing the idea and in case people are looking for a truck with less moving parts option for your side business.

Scania and Volvo are the two best European Trucks, I had a completely new Model Scania 124 360 hp 8 speed splitter box, 4x2 38 tonne GVW IN 1995 when they first came out. In 2006 I had a Volvo 400 hp 8 speed no splitter 4x2 38 tonne GVW. They were both good to drive , but the Scania had the edge with the splitter, pity Volvo never had splitter boxes. Seems like European Truck engines are making an impact on American trucks, their tecnology is more developed whereas the American Engines are way behind, however the interior design of American cabs is far superior, that bed in the International is awesome, make you not want to get up and work. I don't like these modern aerocabs, the traditional style is COOL.
