Picking WILD PLUMS in the MOUNTAINS | Prepare Wild Plum Paste | Rural Cuisine

With its pristine nature, this difficult-to-access region is really a part of heaven on the earth. People come here to pick unique and very sour wild plums because this species of plum is only found in the northern highlands of Iran.
It’s not easy to pick these wild plums because their trees are full of thorns.
We use these very sour plums to make a paste whose taste plays a major role in our local dishes.

Beni resmen çocukluğuma götürdü bu güzel kardeşimiz. Biz babanneme köye giderdik, ormanda yabani erik toplardık ve babannem saatlerce ayni bu şekilde pişirirdi . Nar ekşisine benzer bir şey olurdu. Biraz saha koyu ve daha ekşi tadı vardır. Et ve hamur yemekletinin üstüne koyar yerdik. Mantının üstüne de koyar yerdik. Sarımsakl sirke ve bu karışımdan sulu bi karışım hazırlardı babaannem . Ahh ahh nerde o eski günler
