Under the pretense that he is an ancestor of the hanma’s I believe that pickles transformed state is a primitive version of the demon back, pickle achieves this form by flexing all of his muscles and it in a way makes him look like a demon, what if the demon back is simply a more refined version of this. obviously flexing every muscle in your body even for characters in Baki would be quite strenuous so what if throughout history the form evolved to only require the back to be flexed in order for them to bring out their latent abilities, after all the demon back comes out when yujiro and Baki flex their backs in a specific way just like how pickle achieves his demon body (that’s what I’m calling it) by flexing all of his muscles a specific way, the demon back being an evolution of his form would also make sense considering Baki using the demon back was stronger or at least equal to pickle using the demon body, after all in their slugfest around the end of their fight pickle had to resort to using a technique to defeat Baki rather than brute strength, it could be that throughout history the demon body evolved to be more efficient (only the back muscles needing to be flexed) and stronger (Baki overpowering pickle and yujiro seeing pickle as not worth his time). Lastly, yujiro, yuichiro, pickle are the only three characters to fight against a whole countries military and win. Honestly if pickle isn’t the ancestor of the hanma bloodline may god have mercy on the Baki universe if the true hanma ancestor is alive and fossilized like pickle was and if he is may he never be unearthed lest everyone even possibly yujiro be brutally beaten and devoured.

Is he a cannibal? I would say no cause its pretty apparent that he isn't the same species as us, just as a human eating an ape wouldn't be considered one. Is he a rapist? That depends if he is even considered human by the law but if he is its clear that he is guilty as a lack of knowledge doesn't excuse u for commiting crimes. Is he evil? Quite the opposite imo since outside of the things he does to survive he behaves rly pure and innocent. He is probably one of the least malicious fighters in the series since he didn't even hurt his opponent for fun or sport but to have something to eat and wouldn't even fight unless he was hungry or heavily provoked.

Pickle is from the future. Pickle is a descendant from a future nation which in order to survive the catastrophic climate change settled by their own way of life, has decided to travel back in time, instead of leaving the planet itself. It is unknown why this civilization travelled all the way to the Cretaceous, or if that was intended, but regardless, they were forced to adapt to the new and savage Cretaceous environment. It could be that the futuristic society which was initially intended to form, has had its growth stunted simply because of the new ecological pressures like predation becoming more and more frequent and more of a problem. Although they were struggling to adapt and grow as a nation, the future people had one advantage, and that was the cleaner and more plenty resources of the ancient world (such as protein coming from game meat) which could help them develop both mentally and physically with every generation. This is what allowed these people not only to become more physically apt, but also more adaptable. Whether or not these people disregarded their futuristic tek, or if the nation has already crumbled by that time is unknown. Regardless, modern day ruins of past civilizations preserve poorly, and the remnants of a Cretaceous tek civilization, with an age that stretches into millions of years, rather than thousands of years, would most likely leave no traces to be discovered. The descendants of these future people ”regress” to savagery, although in actual scientific terms, they do nothing to adapt to their extremely harsh environment. You could say they decided to fight fire with fire in evolutionary terms. This new species of human eventually becomes a big game hunter, a population of high-risk high-reward specialists, and although they take on dangerous game, the bounty in flesh that comes with making such a kill outweighs the detriments. This habit of taking down larger and larger game is putting pressure on the species to become more adept at wrestling down large, dangerous game. And it is by this logic that we end up with absolute units like Pickle. This species would have one theoretical disadvantage, and that would be their rate of reproduction. Their main prey and competition reproduced with eggs, which is a much more efficient method of breeding, especially when it comes to the time and energy spent by the mother to nurture a child before and after birth. I am not sure how Pickles species managed to adapt to this flaw, if it had at all. Maybe the infants were born sooner and more underdeveloped, especially at the brain, which could provide an explanation as to why this species has regressed technologically. Maybe they simply bred like rabbits, which would be the reason Pickle did what he did to the news reporter. It could also be a mix of these 2 adaptations. It is through these means that Pickles species managed to prosper all the way to the end of the Mesozoic aka Dinosaur era. We see Pickle duking it out with things like T-rex and Triceratops, one of the last non-avian dinosaurs to ever live. The predecessors of Pickles species likely warped somewhere towards the early or middle Cretaceous, would try their best to flourish for a few thousand years only to be broken, and would adapt accordingly to the brutal savage world of the Mesozoic. Pickle is thus a member of a species of top-order super-human super predators (that eat other predators), the physical and ecological pickle-nnacle of this lineage of time-traveling future humans. How does this affect the Series Baki? In the new manga, we see Pickle has managed to somewhat adapt to the new environment of modern day, learning how to tie his hair into a ponytail, learning how to takedown smaller, more available game in the sewers, (although big game like that giant fucking croc is still his main course), and has at least tried to be a little less socially awkward, with his new habit of smiling at passersby. By comparison, a more advanced human which came from a more recent past, Musashi Miyamoto, had a harder time adapting. Pickle is extremely proficient in learning moves which were used on him by (what he interprets as) big game, and a great example of this is the fist pump he did with Yujiro Hanma. The move used by Yujiro on Pickle was used by Pickle when he fist-pumped Baki on the streets of Tokyo. I hope you like my Theory of Pickle. This theory does not imply a ghost lineage of humans which stretches from 7 million years ago all the way to the Mesozoic, which, as a fan of extinct life myself, I find it a rubbish and shallow interpretation of what is really going on.
