22:44 "Why is pickle so attractive?" So, before Itagaki wrote Baki, he had written a short manga called "Makeupper" (I think). Instead of being a genius fighter like Baki, the main character was a genius beautician. He took doing makeup as seriously as Baki takes fuckin' people up. All the dudes in that manga looked beautiful, like Pickle. Even though Baki is about fuckin people up, and not doin makeup, he carried over the same art style, so a lot dudes in Baki be lookin kinda pretty tho.

For the record Baki sold because it was obviously one sided for him. He knew he could beat pickle (pause), he just chose not to but instead used him as a sparring partner for his big match against Yujiro. Yujiro backed off because he knew pickle wasn’t ready yet because he don’t know no martial arts. That’s why he never ate Baki because it was a obvious one sided match. He’s just gifted with the brute force of nature. Baki basically leveled up and got experience points from his match with pickle.

From my understanding, if you don't win your way, you lose. That's why Baki stopped mimicking animals when he fought Pickle, it wasn't a fair way to win. Pickle fought in a different way towards the end, making him the loser despite knocking Baki out.

In conclusion, if Pickle tried to use the technique before Baki fecided to go raw, Pickle would've lost (in the new Baki vs Yujiro, Baki has even be shown to be strong enough to knock a teeth of Pickle in a single blow).

1. I love how the Pickle arc was just him folding half the cast, Baki himself included 2. Yujiro being mildly impressed by Pickle, but then deciding he's seen enough and leaving the arc out of boredom really puts into perspective the difference in strength between him and literally everyone else 3. so the thing with pickle is... he has a rediculous amount of strength and absolutely colossal potential for improvement in everything... hell he basicly started praying for katsumi during the fight. so compared to him, the rest of the top tier characters(one of which hasnt been introduced yet) can kick his ass because they have a better balance with what they have stats-wise... edit: baki sold the fight cuz his martial arts shennanigans were so rediculous that EVERYONE PRESENT at the fight looked at it as like a "WTF IS HAPPENING RN" kind of thing... when he actually started getting serious pickle was already pretty overwhelmed... take that into account, and look at why yujiro wasnt interested in fighting pickle.
