Best explination of covering the middle i have seen. You might add poaching to it. Disrespect the X if you can poach (on a volley) Your videos are really getting good!

I would love to read that article on proprioception and knee bending. Got a link? Thanks for the info!
Hi Austin, I love & appreciate your teaching! I bought a Titan One. I would like to incorporate more drills with it. Do you have the various QR codes from your drilling program to share for the Titan? Please advise! Thank you for everything your doing!

Can you please provide a link/reference to the article you mentioned about the benefits of bending your knees? THANK YOU!
So what type of return shot do you recommend on low short balls to prevent your opponent from simply slapping it back at you. Thanks
@pickleballplaybook3 күн бұрын
I’d assume you’re referring to what type of 3rd shot when it’s low and short in the court right? Always drop if it’s low and short!

Add some quality photos of all those pros ready positions - from the side. Otherwise we don't know what you're talking about. Love the section on whose middle ball it is - never knew that stuff. Thanks.

You’d get a copyright strike. You have to find photos that aren’t copyrighted which is next to none. Just watch the pros next time they play and you’ll see exactly what I mean! 🙌

Austin makes a lot of strong points and an excellent communicator. I would very much join his training app if and when he reconsiders his pricing. The value in this kind of pricing structure is numbers over quantity. Numbers over time will always beat quantity (fee charged). One of the primary reasons for this is the exponential growth that comes from hearsay. Make yourself common not unique. You are indeed unique in the method you bring to pickleball training but that does not mean you should therefore price yourselves uniquely. It’s always easier to start at your low end say $5.99/month and then overtime as you enhance your program you begin small incremental price hikes justified by your enhancements. Just my opinion.

Hi James! I hear you. Thanks a ton for the feedback. I thought long and hard about the pricing for the app. Since the average private lesson is $80. I figure someone’s doing at least one a week, they’re spending $320/month. Since this isn’t quite a private lesson but still pro instruction from top players and drills to help you improve, I think $19.99 / month or $149.99 / year is very competitive.

Does your Drills App have ball machine drills options or only with a partner?

Great question! Ball machine, partner, and wall drills 🙌

It's called "deliberate practice". You have to practice certain specific skills hundreds/thousands of times if you want to improve. The fallacy is to believe that rec play will improve your game, but that has a low ceiling.

So true! You have to get those reps in!🙌

Regarding who should take the middle, you talked about three scenarios (Kitchen, one up and one back, baseline) but what about when you're in the transistion zone?
@pickleballplaybook10 күн бұрын
If the ball goes high, disrespect the x. If the ball goes low, respect the x! Let me know if that doesn’t make sense
@duanehensley883510 күн бұрын
@@pickleballplaybook Sorry, but can you elaborate a little more? Who takes the middle if one or both partners are in the transition zone?

The reason for bending your knees slightly is that straight knees create a kinematic singularity that reduces your mobility. It's a math thing.

I tried disrespecting the ex but she carries a glock. It did NOT go well... and insurance wouldn't pay for fixing the hole. Expensive mistake. At least I was able to live and learn on that one.
